K4JA Operating Positions

This section shows each of the operator positions at K4JA. We try to keep each station nearly identical to reduce operator fatigue and ease emergency equipment swap-out. Every station uses a Yaesu FT-1000MP, either an Acom 2000A or Ameritron AL-1500 amplifier, Writelog software, homebrew switching controllers and antenna rotators.

The station layout is, from left to right, Packetcluster computer, 40M, 10/80M, 15/160M, and 20M.
